No one was injured in a west suburban Naperville house fire Thursday.
At 8:16 p.m., crews responded to a call of a fire in the 1100 block of Royal St. George Drive, according to a statement from the Naperville Fire Department. The call came from a female resident who said her stove was on fire.
The fire was struck out 10 minutes after crews arrived on the scene, fire officials said. No one was injured.
The house was deemed uninhabitable, with damage to the kitchen and moderate smoke staining to the interior, fire officials said. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Naperville Fire Investigation Team.
