The Lake County coroner’s office in Indiana is searching for a woman in connection to a death it is investigating.

The alert was issued Thursday afternoon for 44-year-old Patricia Ann Puryear.

Officials are looking for Puryear to answer questions about a case it is investigating, said Scott Sefton, Lake County coroner’s office senior investigator. Sefton declined to say more about the case.

Her last known address was in the 2500 block of East 23rd Street in Gary, Ind. in 1996, the coroner’s office said.
