Woman, 20, shot in Gage Park

A woman was shot Monday afternoon in the Gage Park neighborhood on the South Side.

The 20-year-old was shot in the leg at 3:04 p.m. when she was walking in the 5100 block of South Western Avenue and felt pain, realizing she had been shot, according to Chicago Police.

She was taken to Holy Cross Hospital, where she was treated and later released, police said.
