A man was shot early Sunday in the South Loop.

The 26-year-old was walking with a female in the 100 block of East 11th Street about 3 a.m. when he heard gunfire and realized he’d been shot in the left arm, according to Chicago Police.

The female drove him to 18th and State streets, where they notified authorities, police said. He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where his condition was stabilized.
