A man was shot during a robbery late Sunday in the West Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

About 11:30 p.m., the 20-year-old was walking outside in the 4000 block of West West End Avenue when two males walked up and announced a robbery, according to Chicago Police.

The man ran away and was shot in the side, leg and arm, police said. He was taken in fair condition to Mount Sinai Hospital.
