A man found dead inside a vehicle Monday afternoon near McCormick Place on the Near South Side shot himself in the head, an autopsy found.

About 12:15 p.m., the 26-year-old was found unresponsive inside a vehicle in the 2500 block of South King Drive, according to Chicago Police.

An autopsy Tuesday found he died of a gunshot wound to the head, and his death was ruled a suicide, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
