A man who was found shot to death Sunday afternoon in the South Side Auburn Gresham neighborhood has been identified.

Ryan Ellis, 25, was found shot multiple times in the body in the 1400 block of West 84th Street at 1:55 p.m., according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Ellis was pronounced dead at the scene at 2:30 p.m., authorities said. He lived in the South Chicago neighborhood.
