The second victim of a Humboldt Park shooting last week on the West Side died Saturday night.
Deandre Trotter, 23, and 18-year-old Diangelo Black were standing in the 3400 block of West Chicago at 3:26 p.m. Thursday when two males dressed all in black ran up, opened fire and ran away, according to police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
Both men suffered multiple gunshot wounds and were taken to Stroger Hospital, authorities said.
Trotter, who lived in the 10900 block of South Racine, was pronounced dead at 4:02 p.m. that day, the medical examiner’s office said. Black, who lived in the 11100 block of South Edbrooke, was pronounced dead at 9:13 p.m. Saturday.
