A 16-year-old girl and her 11-year-old brother who were reported missing from their Northwest Side Hermosa home overnight have been found.

Thalia and William Alaya were last seen about 10 p.m. Thursday in their bedrooms in the 2000 block of North Kostner, according to a missing person alert from Chicago Police. They were reported missing about 2:30 a.m. Friday.

They have since been located “safe and sound,” police said Friday afternoon.
