The South Shore Line was busing passengers Wednesday morning due to wire damage in northwest Indiana.

As of 5:40 a.m., buses were available for South Shore Line customers between Michigan City and South Bend because of the overhead wire damage, according to the Northern Indiana Commuter Transportation District.

Passengers were urged to expect delays while busing was in effect.
