The National Weather Service is warning of high winds Sunday as the temperatures heat up into springtime temperatures, just in time for baseball.
A wind advisory remains in effect until 7 p.m., according to the National Weather Service. The strongest winds, between 25 and 35 miles per hour with gusts up to 45 miles per hour, are expected between late morning and early evening.
The high winds can make driving difficult and cause minor property and tree damage, the weather service advised.
The high temperature is expected to reach a balmy 62 degrees Sunday, according to the weather service, but will drop back down into the 30s overnight. The high Monday will only reach about 40 degrees, with cooler temperatures near the lake.
