Teen wounded in Fuller Park shooting

A teenager was wounded in a shooting Sunday night in the Fuller Park neighborhood on the South Side.

The 17-year-old boy was standing outside about 10:20 p.m. in the 4400 block of South Princeton Avenue when a black car pulled up and someone inside opened fire, according to Chicago police.

The boy was struck in his chest and was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where his condition stabilized, police said.

Area Central detectives were investigating the shooting.
