A 17-year-old boy was wounded in a Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood shooting early Sunday on the South Side.

The teenager told investigators he was standing on a corner about 1:30 a.m. in the 7600 block of South South Chicago Avenue when he heard gunfire and realized he’d been shot in the right leg, according to Chicago Police.

He later showed up at St. Bernard Hospital, where he was listed in good condition, police said.
