A 17-year-old boy was shot Wednesday evening in the West Garfield Park neighborhood.

The teenager was shot in the ankle about 7:40 p.m. in the 4100 block of West Madison, Chicago Police said.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition.
