Two people were found dead inside a Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood home on the South Side Wednesday evening.

A man and a 47-year-old woman were found dead about 7:45 p.m. in the home in the 7100 block of South Ingleside, according to police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

The woman lived in the home where she was found dead, authorities said. The man’s exact age and home address weren’t released Thursday morning.

Police did not provide further details, only saying that Area Central detectives are conducting a death investigation.
