Two shot in Washington Park

Two men were shot Sunday night in the Washington Park neighborhood on the South Side.

The men, 19 and 25, were at a gathering outside about 10:45 p.m. in the 5800 block of South Wabash when shots rang out, according to Chicago Police.

The younger man was shot in the left leg and taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said. The 25-year-old was in good condition at St. Bernard Hospital.

The man was found unresponsive in an alley in the 10700 block of South Lowe Avenue, police said.
The man suffered head trauma and was pronounced dead at University of Chicago Medical Center, police said.
