A window washer was seriously injured in a fall Tuesday morning in the West Loop.

The man fell from the fourth floor of a 10-story building in the 900 block of West Monroe at 8:42 a.m., Chicago Fire Department Deputy District Chief Jeff Lyle said.

The worker, whose age wasn’t immediately available, was taken to Stroger Hospital in serious condition, Lyle said.
