Woman, 28, shot in Austin

A 28-year-old woman was shot Saturday evening in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side.

The woman was shot in both legs and the ankle by a male wearing all black clothing at 8:23 p.m. in the 5500 block of West Rice Street, according to Chicago Police.

She was taken to Loyola University Medical Center, where her condition was stabilized, police said.
