A woman was shot Saturday night in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

The 29-year-old was shot in her right shin at 7:32 p.m. in the 5700 block of South Paulina, Chicago Police said.

The circumstances of the shooting were not immediately known.

She was taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition, police said.
