A woman was shot Sunday evening in the Morgan Park neighborhood on the Far South Side.

About 5:50 p.m., the 65-year-old standing on a sidewalk in the 11100 block of South Halsted when a male in a passing vehicle opened fire, according to Chicago Police.

She was grazed in her arm and was taken to Christ Medical Center, where she was in good condition, police said.

Area South detectives were investigating.
