Woman shot in Lawndale

A 39-year-old woman was shot Friday evening in the Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side.

She was sitting in a parked vehicle at 5:37 p.m. in the 3100 block of West Douglas when a bullet came through the windshield and struck her in the left wrist, according to Chicago Police.

She was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition.
