A 46-year-old woman was shot in the East Garfield Park neighborhood Friday night.

She was standing in the 3000 block of West Lexington about 9:45 p.m. when three males came out of a gangway and one of them shot in her direction, striking her in the hip, police said.

She was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where her condition stabilized, police said.
