A woman was shot early Saturday on the Southwest Side.

The 21-year-old was standing on the sidewalk about 3:30 a.m. in the 1300 block of South Albany when someone opened fire from a red vehicle, according to Chicago Police.

She was shot in the back and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where her condition was stabilized, police said.
