A woman’s arm was partially severed in a single-vehicle rollover crash early Monday on the Kennedy Expressway.

The SUV rolled over about 2:15 a.m. in the outbound lanes of I-90/94 near North Avenue, according to Illinois State Police.

The vehicle was carrying a woman and two males, all of whom ran from the scene, police said. They were all eventually found, and it was discovered that the woman’s arm was partially severed in the crash.

She was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, police said. Her injuries were not thought to be life-threatening. The males were not injured and it was not known who was driving at the time.

Additional information was not immediately available as Illinois State Police investigate the crash.
