SHARE Letters: Who is paying for John Boehner’s trip to Israel?

U.S. House Speaker John Boehner and his constituents are traveling to Israel to visit the prime minister. So who’s paying for this excursion, the United States or Israeli taxpayers?

Workers need unions

Republicans are unwilling to understand — the American worker needs a union as much today as they were needed years ago, to protect wages, benefits and the futures of workers, their families, and our country. Unions fought for 40-hour workweeks, paid vacations, health care benefits and pensions, safe work environments.

With unions, there are no more child laborers, and unpaid hours of work. Those benefits were NOT given to us but earned by union workers who fought for our rights and hopefully, we will all continue to fight and support unions.

Given the way his world is collapsing on him, U.S. Rep. Aaron Schock must be one shocked schlock.

Brilliant letter

I love John Schow’s scathing letter about Mark Kirk and Aaron Schock. Brilliant!
