A 20-year-old man was shot Sunday night in the West Garfield Park neighborhood.

He was walking on the sidewalk about 9:45 p.m. in the 4000 block of West Jackson when he heard shots and felt pain, according to Chicago Police.

The man suffered a gunshot wound to the right buttocks and was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition stabilized.
