Woman shot in Park Manor

A woman was shot early Sunday in the Park Manor neighborhood on the South Side.

At 1:36 a.m., the 24-year-old was standing on a front porch in the 7100 block of South St. Lawrence when someone in a white vehicle fired shots, striking her in the right hip, according to Chicago Police.

She was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where her condition was stabilized, police said.

The woman, 18, was driving a car with three passengers at a restaurant when a man on a bike approached and began arguing with them before shooting, police said.
A 34-year-old man was found on the sidewalk in the 200 block of East 111th Street at about 10 p.m., police said. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he died.
