A 23-year-old man was killed Sunday afternoon when he was shot multiple times in the Southwest Side Little Village neighborhood.

Juan Bahena Jr. was in a vehicle at 4:32 p.m. when someone in a tan minivan opened fire in the 2400 block of South Western, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Bahena was shot in the neck, thigh and buttocks and pronounced dead at Stroger Hospital at 5 p.m., authorities said. He lived in the Southwest Side West Elsdon neighborhood.

There was no one in custody as Area Central detectives were investigating.
