A 17-year-old boy was shot in the leg in a Hermosa neighborhood alley late Monday on the Northwest Side.

He was walking in the 1900 block of North Lowell when someone in a black car fired shots, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Norwegian American Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said. No one was in custody.
