DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR
FRIDAY, MARCH 22, 2013
In the morning, the President will travel to Mt. Herzl where he will lay a wreath at the grave of Theodor Herzl and at the grave of Yitzhak Rabin. There will be pool coverage of the visit.
The President will then tour Yad Vashem where he will lay a wreath in the Hall of Remembrance, sign a guest book, and deliver remarks. There will be pool coverage of this visit.
After, the President will have lunch with Prime Minister Netanyahu at the King David Hotel. This lunch is closed press.
In the afternoon, the President will travel to Bethlehem where he will tour the Church of the Nativity with President Abbas. There will be pool coverage of the visit.
Later in the afternoon, the President will depart Tel Aviv, Israel en route Amman, Jordan. The departure from Ben Gurion International Airport and the arrival at Queen Alia International Airport will be open press.
The President will then travel to Al Hummar, the official offices of His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan. There will be pre-set pool coverage of the arrival. The President will then be met by His Majesty and participate in an official arrival ceremony. This ceremony is open press.
Afterwards, the President will participate in a restricted bilateral meeting and an expanded bilateral meeting with His Majesty King Abdullah II at Al Hummar. There will be a pool spray at the top of the restricted bilateral meeting. The expanded bilateral meeting is closed press.
Later, the President and His Majesty King Abdullah II will host a press conference at Al Hummar. This press conference is open press.
In the evening, the President will attend a dinner with His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan at his private residence, Beit Al Urdun. This dinner is closed press.
The President will spend the night in Amman, Jordan.
