DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR

FRIDAY, JANUARY 27, 2012

In the morning, the President will deliver remarks at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor expanding on his State of the Union proposals to keep college affordable and within reach for all Americans.

Following these remarks, the President will depart from Michigan en route Joint Base Andrews. The departure from Detroit Metro Wayne County Airport is open press.

Later, the President will travel to Cambridge, MD to deliver remarks at the House Democratic Issues Conference. There will be travel pool coverage of the President’s remarks.

In the afternoon, the President will return to the White House. Later, the President and the Vice President will meet with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in the Oval Office. The arrival on the South Lawn is open press and the meeting with Secretary Clinton is closed press.

Later in the afternoon, the President will deliver remarks at a campaign event at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel. There will be print pool coverage for remarks only.
