Schedule for the Week of January 28, 2013

On Monday, the President will welcome the NBA Champion Miami Heat to the White House to honor the team and their 2012 NBA Championship victory. The President will also recognize the Heat’s ongoing support to the men and women who serve in our military and their families, continuing the tradition begun by President Obama of honoring sports teams for their efforts on and off the court.

On Tuesday, the President will travel to Las Vegas, Nevada where he will deliver remarks. The President will return to Washington, DC in the evening.

On Wednesday and Thursday, the President will attend meetings at the White House.

On Friday, the President will award twelve eminent researchers the National Medal of Science and eleven extraordinary inventors the National Medal of Technology and Innovation, the highest honors bestowed by the United States Government upon scientists, engineers, and inventors. This event will take place at the White House.
