DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR

MONDAY, AUGUST 19, 2013

In the morning, the President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing in the Oval Office. The President will then meet with senior advisors. These meetings are closed press.

In the afternoon, the President will host a meeting with the lead financial regulators to discuss the progress that has been made in strengthening the financial system, including the implementation of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act. Participating in the meeting will include the Comptroller of the Currency, the Director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), the Acting Director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA), and the chairs of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System (FRB), the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), the National Credit Union Administration, and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). This meeting is closed press.
