WASHINGTON–Bears rookie Kyle Long is the subject of a Monday front page story in the Washington Post about how he is following in the footsteps of his dad, Pro Football Hall of Famer Howie Long. The difference: Kyle Long, 24, is coming up in an era when the NFL is trying much harder to “promote” the care of its players. The Post piece includes interviews with Howie Long and his wife, Diane.
