Sen. Cruz's filibuster-style blitz to block Obamacare: CSTtv Shutdown Showdown video

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) continued Wednesday his filibuster-style attack on ObamaCare he started on Tuesday. Cruz started his blitz against President Barack Obama’s health insurance plan on Tuesday. The irony: Cruz is blocking a vote on a Republican measure the House passed last week with two provisions to keep all of the federal government open after Sept. 30 and to defund ObamaCare. The Senate’s first procedural votes are expected later today, the first steps needed to strip mention of ObamaCare from the resolution to keep government open. Technically, Cruz is not doing a Jimmy Stewart talk-till-you-drop filibuster; because of Senate procedures Cruz will have to yield the floor sometime today.
