WASHINGTON–Lilly Ledbetter–whose name is on the equal pay law, the first bill President Barack Obama signed–headlined a fund-raiser Sunday in Evanston to benefit the congressional House Democratic political shop, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.

Illinois Democrats Rep. Mike Quigley and Rep. Jan Schakowksy attended the brunch, at the Evanston home of Democratic activist Laura Tucker and her husband, Democratic political consultant Pete Giangreco.
