Republican gubernatorial candidate Dan Rutherford paid more than $18,000 in federal and Illinois state income taxes in 2012, according to documents the campaign released Sunday.
The taxes were paid on an adjusted gross income of $114,145 for the Illinois State Treasurer.
Rutherford, who is in a four-way primary race for governor, was the last of the candidates to release his tax returns. He also did so for his running mate Steve Kim, who reported paying more than $35,000 in state and federal income tax.
State Sen. Kirk Dillard, R-Hinsdale, paid $76,000 in state and federal taxes in 2012 on $353,785 in income. State Sen. Bill Brady, R-Bloomington, paid more than $37,000 in taxes, on about $200,000 in income.
Bruce Rauner disclosed ownership stake in three sports teams and earnings of $53 million in 2013.
