Gutierrez to GOP lawmakers: Stop whining, start legislating

Rep. Luis Gutierrez, who has been vocal on the immigration issue, has some choice words for Republican lawmakers who are blasting President Barack Obama on his planned immigration action: “Stop whining.”

Gutierrez went on MSNBC Thursday and dismissed Republicans over the plan that could shield 5 million people from being deported.

“Mitch McConnell — they should stop whining, and they should start legislating, and start saying what they’re going to do,” Gutierrez said. “They have an incredible victory in the Senate, an incredible new majority in the House of Representatives. Use it to do something constructive!”
