We’ve recently sent governors George Ryan and Rod Blagojevich to federal prison. Countless other Illinois politicians have been under federal scrutiny and convicted of crimes.

It’s so bad, a poll showed that 89 percent of Illinois residents said corruption is common. And it all comes with a heavy price. A study shows that corruption costs each Illinois resident $1,308 per person, because corruption often results in excessive spending.

OK, so we’re surrounded by corruption. But can you match the public official to their misdeed?
