The candidates for governor are set to address a nonprofit group that addresses Chicago area growth.
Gov. Pat Quinn and his Republican challenger are speaking at the Metropolitan Planning Council candidate forum on Thursday. Each candidate will address the crowd for about 25 minutes, but they won’t face each other or be on the stage at the same time.
The council looks at issues like transportation, water infrastructure and the state’s fiscal picture.
