SHARE DGA plays up Rauner’s '.01 percent’ comment

The Democratic Governors Association is playing up a comment Bruce Rauner made to the Chicago Sun-Times in an interview this month about his being part of the .01 percent of the wealthiest in the nation. 

Rauner responded that he was part of the .01 percent when asked if he was part of the so-called 1 percent that came up in the 2012 presidential race between President Obama and Republican Mitt Romney. 

Rauner went on to say he was vastly different than Mitt Romney. 

Below is what lies ahead for Rauner, should he emerge victorious in Tuesday’s GOP gubernatorial primary.  (Note, he’s checking on his watch).
