First Lady Michelle Obama is the latest political personality to surface on the NBC comedy “Parks and Recreation.”

Obama’s cameo will be on the season six finale, titled “Moving Up,” at 7 p.m. (Central) April 24.

Her scene was filmed in late February in Miami “where she celebrated investments in healthier out-of-school programs as part of her ‘Let’s Move’ initiative dedicated to solving the challenge of childhood obesity,” according to the network, which announced the news Thursday.

Other national figures who’ve appeared on the government bureaucracy-mocking series include Vice President Joe Biden, Arizona Sen. John McCain, California Sen. Barbara Boxer and former Maine Sen. Olympia Snowe.

The show, whose regular time slot is 7:30 p.m. Thursdays on WMAQ-Channel 5, stars Amy Poehler as Leslie Knope, a proud civil servant in the Parks and Recreation Department of Pawnee, Ind.
