President Barack Obama is in The Netherlands and Belgium on Tuesday for meetings with global leaders and for the Nuclear Security Summit.

DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR

TUESDAY, MARCH 25, 2014

In the morning, the President will meet with President Nursultan Nazarbayev of Kazakhstan at the United States Ambassador’s residence. This meeting is closed press.

Afterward, the President will visit the World Forum at The Hague to participate in the Nuclear Security Summit. There will be limited pool coverage of the President’s arrival.

Later in the morning, the President will participate in a leaders-only plenary session at the Nuclear Security Summit. There will be a photojournalist spray at the top of the meeting.

In the afternoon, the President will join fellow leaders to take the official family photo. There will limited pool coverage of the photo. Afterward, the President will participate in a working lunch with a plenary discussion, as well as the third plenary discussion. These events at the World Forum are closed press.

Later in the afternoon, the President will participate in the closing session of the Nuclear Security Summit. There will be pool coverage of the session. Following the Summit, the President will hold a joint press conference with Prime Minister Rutte of The Netherlands at the Gemeentemuseum Den Haag. The joint press conference is open press.

In the evening, the President will participate in a bilateral meeting with the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the United Arab Emirates, at the United States Ambassador’s residence. This meeting is closed press.

While at the Ambassador’s residence, the President will hold a trilateral meeting with President Park Geun-Hye of the Republic of Korea and Prime Minister Shinzo Abe of Japan. There will be pool coverage at the top of the meeting. Following the meeting, the President will meet with employees and family members of the United States Embassy to The Netherlands. This event is closed press.

At night, the President will depart The Netherlands en route Brussels, Belgium. The President’s departure from Schipol International Airport and arrival at Brussels International Airport are open press. The President will remain overnight in Brussels, Belgium.
