The Republicans have taken their fair share of shots at Obamacare, especially on Twitter. On Thursday, the White House’s Jesse Lee fired right back at the critics after the it was announced 6 million people had signed up.
The focus of Lee was tweets like these, making fun at the troubled rollout:
Total October "enrollees" in the Obamacare Exchanges?— Rep. Brad Wenstrup (@RepBradWenstrup) November 13, 2013
Capacity of OSU’s stadium, The Horseshoe?
Only 27k signed up for #Obamacare using the federal insurance website, not even enough to fill up Razorback stadium. pic.twitter.com/8AMyjEKlVc— Tom Cotton (@TomCottonAR) November 14, 2013
As it turns out, Lee is pretty good at math as well.
Interesting trivia: total capacity of all NFL stadiums=about 2M. So enrollment now ~3x all NFL stadiums combined. http://t.co/b7JwrAnu02— Jesse Lee (NARA) (@jesseclee44) March 27, 2014
