Things aren’t looking good for Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) if you believe the latest numbers from Public Policy Polling.

The data shows that only 30 percent of Arizona residents approve of the job he’s doing, while 54 percent disapprove. That gives him the worst net approval rating in the country.

The poll, which was conducted Feb. 2, shows that the numbers are almost identical between Republicans (35 percent approval, 55 percent disapproval) and Democrats (29 percent approval, 53 percent disapproval).

What about Illinois’ two senators?

Democrat Dick Durbin has a 46 percent approval rating, while Republican Mark Kirk has a 32 percent approval rating.
