As the March 31 deadline to enroll in an Affordable Care Act plan without paying a penalty approaches, “navigators,” who help people sign up for health care, are targeting parts of Cook County, the state and other areas of the U.S. with high rates of uninsured residents. This map shows the number of Americans who have enrolled in an Affordable Care Act marketplace plan per 1,000 residents. Click on a state for full details and to see the rate of uninsured residents:
