Rep. Blake Farenthold (R-TX), has introduced a bill that would stop paying federal employees who are being held in contempt of Congress — and it’s aimed directly at Attorney General Eric Holder.

The bill, H.R. 4447, has one main purpose.

“If he [Holder] continues to refuse to resign, my bill would at least prevent hardworking American taxpayers from paying his salary,” Farenthold said in a statement. “The American people should not be footing the bill for federal employees who stonewall Congress or rewarding government officials’ bad behavior. If the average American failed to do his or her job, he or she would hardly be rewarded. High-ranking government officials should be treated no differently than everyone else.”

This is part of an ongoing feud, as last week Farenthold told Holder shouldn’t even be allowed in Congress.
