President Barack Obama on Thursday at the White House meets with vets participating in the Wounded Warriors Soldier Ride and then huddles with representatives of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners and with insurance executives.

In the morning, the President and the Vice President will welcome the Wounded Warrior Project’s Soldier Ride to the White House in celebration of the seventh annual Soldier Ride. A cycling event to help Wounded Warriors restore their physical and emotional well-being, the Soldier Ride also raises awareness of our nation’s Wounded Warriors who battle the physical and psychological damages of war. The President’s remarks on the South Lawn are open press.

In the afternoon, the President and the Vice President will meet with representatives from the National Association of Insurance Commissioners. This meeting is closed press.

Later in the afternoon, the President and the Vice President will meet with insurance executives in the Roosevelt Room. There will be a photojournalist spray at the top of the meeting.
