Obama guidance & press schedule April 24, 2014: Tokyo Palace

WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama on Thursday continues his visit to Japan capped in the evening with a state dinner.

In the evening the President will return to the Imperial Palace to attend the Japanese state dinner. Following the official arrival ceremony at the Imperial Palace, the President will participate in a receiving line with guests. The President’s arrival will be covered by a pre-set pool, and there will be limited pool coverage of the receiving line. Later in the evening the President will attend the state dinner and participate in an after-dinner talk. There will be travel pool coverage of the dinner and print pool coverage of the after-dinner talk.

The President will remain overnight in Tokyo.
