The next time Democratic Florida Rep. Joe Garcia is sitting behind someone speaking on C-SPAN, he might want to avoid taking care of personal hygiene issues out of the view of the camera.

Last week during a House Judiciary Committee broadcast, Garcia picked at his ear, examined his finger, then put it in his mouth.

Garcia disputes that he was eating his earwax — he said he was taking care of a hangnail.

Naturally, he took to Twitter yesterday to plead his case. He also dragged his mother into it.
